My condo at The Lighthouse is very close to the East entrance..we stay there but quit attending about 4-5 years ago.

They have found out a few years ago that people are sheep and creatures of habit and will go no matter how shitty just to have something to do and go hangout (No pun intended) and drink beers at the beach.
I still know people that are approaching mid 40s that go every year with their friends.
By the way this year's 3 day pass seems to be in the $375 range with fees.
I want to say when it started it was $225 and you could get $199 earlybird (prior to lineup).

Pretty sure I only paid around $150-$175 for the first one. Went again the year Stevie Wonder was there and paid considerably more, but can't remember how much.

wow .very sad . about 10 yrs ago we went on vacay to Gulf Shores and went to the hangout one night for dinner and stayed for a real good lynrd skynrd -type band outside afterward .great atmosphere there .now its going to be full of teen girls with green hair and boys with eye shadow smh
