I went Southern Baptist —> Reformed —> Orthodox. If you take the western view of sotierology you have to have cognitive dissonance to be anything other than Calvinist.

If Jesus died for all of the sins of all the people in the world, then everybody would be saved because he would’ve died for the sin of rejecting him. There’s no point for Hell.

If Jesus didn’t die for the sin of rejecting him, then he died for some of the sins of all the people in the world and therefore you are saved by works. You can boast in your salvation theoretically.

Therefore, if Hell exists And to be saved without works, Jesus had to have died for all of the sins for some people, the elect.

This is wrong. Jesus died for all sins and we have free will to believe and follow him. If he only died for some there would be no point of life. Just go straight to Heaven

i think you are either leaving out much biblical context or are adding to God's word in ignorance.

There’s little difference between the hard line definition implied in your post and my Roman Catholic friends who insist transubstantiation explains the transcendental mystery of Holy Communion.

It’s like everyone knows more than St. Paul and the rest of the Apostles.
quote:

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

Youve never read the Bible have you?
quote:

Matthew 12:31

“blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”

quote:

blasphemy -

1. impious utterance or action concerning God or sacred things.

2. an act of cursing or reviling God.

3. assuming to oneself the rights or qualities of God.

4. irreverent behavior toward that which is held sacred.

So there are clearly acts defined, that you can never be forgiven for.

Why are some saved, and not others?

A good, less than 10 minute video to watch:

There is biblical reason to believe in an elect basis already chosen before their births

i know you think you're being clever, but what you fail to mention or understand is the element of faith. faith in christ is what makes one righteous, not just Christ and not just faith
