They were fine when they got healthy after the Ole Miss game. Look what they did against A&M, Georgia, OU, and Clemson. Clemson 1 of 11 on 3rd down conversions, Lawrence 0 TD passes, Etienne well under 100 yards rushing.

BTW, if LSU hadn't kneeled at the end of the Ole Miss game they still win that game by 4 possessions. The Vandy game was never in question and they were tinkering in that game, because they could afford to do so.

The 2nd half of the Bama game was definitely disappointing, but Bama was incredibly loaded.


Aranda is such a solid coach.

That didn’t refute what I said. They don’t beat Texas, Florida, or Alabama without LSU’s 2019 offense. The defense became serviceable after the Arkansas game but it wasn’t a defense that could win a national championship on its own or without that high powered offense.
