In addition to Will Campbell, there are a bunch of big time players between Neville and Warren Easton. Hope he takes a hard look at AJ Allen.

Really would like to see that Warren Easton relationship mended

Are you saying he is going to the game or are you saying he should be at the game?

You can mend that WE relationship and lock up NOLA with 1 phone call.

Love that initiative, Tony.

So why does LSU always have to mend relationships in NOLA but other schools just come in and take certain players.

Hope he is there to recruit the young offensive lineman too. Lance Heard is his name; he will be a senior in 2023.

We tend to have to mend relationships because the other schools keep Louisiana high school coaches on their staff just to keep their connections.

Nah, we have to mend things because coaches/schools get butthurt when LSU doesn’t offer someone they think is worthy. They don’t hold that kind of thing against other schools because it’s assumed LSU should never miss on the evaluation of someone in their own backyard.

What schools?

Warren Easton has a stud corner who’s a sophomore

Some people in NO care more about their egos than they do about the players they're supposed to be getting into the best situation for them.

That’s right go get him now, #25 DL #180 in country, next year will be main man on D, if he’s got the grades go get him, Aranda has already offered

Well Hull is still at ULM. Maybe that's why Kelly is at the game in Monroe.

Because being the states flagship LSU, all kids as well as coaches think they should get an offer early in the process and when they don't they are butthurt. It then takes some serious coddling from the coaching staff to get the kids back. With so much talent in state, some kids simply have to leave.
OOS schools can come in and say, "look we have offered and LSU is not interested. You are a back up plan for someone else higher on their board". Its called negative recruiting and the kids and coaches fall for it all the time.

This is the answer.

New Orleans coaches like to deal with schools coaches from the New Orleans area first. If you don't have one, then you're just another school and long shot to land top notch kids.
