To be fair, when the bowl was announced on ESPN, I remember Corso saying Notre Dame got the worst matchup for a bowl opponent, and he wouldn't want to play LSU if he were the Indianapolis Colts.
Even Herbstreit and Davis were chuckling about how concerned Irish fans should be.

I had endzone tickets for that game, and all I remember is that everyone was open. Jamarcus was slinging it easily wherever he wanted.

Had we not lost to Auburn that year, LSU would’ve beaten Ohio St like a drum in the NC game. We can thank Fisher and Miles for that masterful offensive performance.
