Their offense is garbage and I stand by this comment. The 20-7 lead was not a fluke.

We dominated them and beat ourselves:

-Sander’s pass
-Kamara’s fumble
-Cook’s concussion, which also makes CSP go for two
-holding on third down pass to Kittle
-the incredibly unlucky helmet to helmet flag
-missed tackle on 4th and 2

Any one of those instances go our way and the game is ours.

We win 4/5 times against these guys. I’m praying for a playoff rematch with us at full health.

And we just got punked big time by a "gimmick" offense/team.

Check out the second half though:

-their only two TD drives were off of the Kamara fumble and 3rd down hold/personal foul.

Once the gimmick plays were gone/adjusted to, we dominated them.

He didn't have to.

So you agree Dennis Allen is a shitty DC who couldn't even get these guys prepared for a misdirection gimmick offense?

Dude I could drop 48 on that garbage Saints defense. It's like beating up a retard. They just threw a 1 yard pass on 4th and 2 and the Saints easily let them gain 30 yards off of it. Give me a beak.

he adjusted in the second half. not much you can do when the other team starts on the 20 yard line

Even on the fourth and 2, Gardner was in position to make the tackle but whiffed.

The only thing I agree with is we probably obliterate them in a rematch.

It was bad defense for the Saints more than it was good offense for SF.

Dude they scored on the same play 2x in a row on the drive in the second half. The big play at the end was a shitty defensive PC period. He put Gardner on the best TE in the NFC and went with a blitz on 4th and 2 when EVERYONE knew Jimmy G would do whatever it took to get the 1st to extend the drive going. He had to know that ball was coming out quick so you're putting a rookie on an island with no help? He got out coached ALL game plain and simple. He should not show his face in public for the rest of this season.

Do you remember when Harper was getting torched all game by Davis in the 49ers playoff game with no adjustments? Same thing happened here. fricking awful job by Allen period.

If you couldn't see that Kyle Shanahan used a bunch of trick plays & eye dressing, misdirection plays today then you obviously don't know what the frick you watching.

The entire first half, the 49ers used a ton of designed unconventional plays for big plays. Shanahan's entire offensive game plan today was based off misdirection, way more than the 49ers normally uses.

Shanahan must have felt that offensively they couldn't get it done today with a regular offensive game plan. You have to tip your hat for his creativity with his game plan & the players executed it flawlessly.

Their offense was much more predictable in the second half when they went back to their normal array of plays.

Idk what game you watched but Shanahan's play designs especially in the 1st half were really good & it caught the defense flat footed. They showed plays that have not shown all season long.

He was way too aggressive playing the slant & when Kittle pivoted on his option route, Gardner-Johnson was flat footed. Just giving up a 5 yard play there wouldn't have been the end of the world. Johnson shouldn't have so aggressive which ultimately allowed for the big catch & run.

This might be the ultimate homer take. They just hung 48 on us in the dome. That’s not just a lucky fluke. Yes, our defense sucks, but they have some unique weapons that make them dangerous. Deebo Samuels is a receiver in a RB’s body. Kittle is a monster. They’ve got a stable of ultra fast RBs. Oh and they’ve got the best fullback in the league who is also a great receiver. Thats what makes them so dangerous, everybody can catch the ball. I don’t think Jimmy G is the reincarnation of Tom Brady as billed, but the dude can make some throws.
