Honda Pioneer 700 rats got the seatbelt sensor

So I found where the rats chewed the wiring for my seatbelt sensor. If anyone knows about these, the connector behind the front seat ( white 2 wire connector), well they chewed the wires up to the connector making it useless. Ive tried to straight wire it but it seems the connector is an important piece.
Ive looked around for answers on if this connector has some kind of sensor in it and where I can buy the replacement with no luck. Anyone have a suggestion?

Those two wires going to the seat belt “sensor” (it’s a simple switch)… cut the chewed up part off completely. Strip the ends of the two wires. Butt splice them together. That’s it. The ECM needs to see that circuit completed and it’ll register as the seat belt being buckled.

You spliced the two wires together and it still wouldn’t work? Sure it’s not chewed through somewhere else?

It could also be a looking for a specific voltage below 12v. A resistor in the circuit could drop the voltage. I don't know, just guessing.

Is the sxs stuttering and killing? May not be the safety sensor on the seatbelt, mine does that if it gets real hot, seems to be some issue with the ECM and grounding, I have not dove too deep
Into it as it only happens very occasionally

That link you posted is just useless. The male end of that and the wires leading up to it is what was chewed.
To update, I traced all the wires today after straight wiring it and found another small spot that was chewed. That got it fixed.
