Two banks isn’t the end of the banking shite, it is the end of the beginning.
Read up on the 2008 shite. Lehman Bros was set to be bailed out until everyone figured out it wouldn’t save the market, it would just make the next weakest bank be the one to fail.
Dominoes are going to start falling soon given how leveraged a lot of banks are and how twitchy depositors are, wanting to move to JP Morgan et all.
