Part of me says good. My kids and grandchild have been taught how to live in that environment. Yes it will be hard but the planet getting rid of the “deadweight” isn’t a bad thing in total.
If you have to decide each day which gender you are, maybe you’re not needed.

It does seem to look more and more like we're headed to a modern version of feudalism. Ten percent of the people will rule and enjoy capitalism while lording over the other 90% living under socialism.

Economy had to run full bore to keep it from crashing. Kept running on emotions alone. Like a candle burning from ends. Their only thought of a solution will be to insert another fuse and light it, hoping to slow down the melting.

There is a reason the government will not harden the power grid from an emp or the sun equivalent.
They don't want to. The costs and reserve materials needed would have been a fraction of what is freely given away to other countries.
