At the level LSU is recruiting right now, and the high profile players that want to play here, I think LSU needs to be somewhat cautious when offering committable scholarships. Especially since some guys are just completing their soph. season. I don't like it when a player commits and then 2 years later there's players at the same position that LSU has rated higher and they want in. Then you are facing the issue like they have this year and have commitments they may have to turn away. Processing players I suppose is what it's called.
Not a fan of 'processing' recruits. I know it is necessary sometimes. I'm not saying Hundley won't be rated the best at his position when he is a sr., just making a point.

Good thing theyve got a year to figure it out. Taking him this early with plenty of time and kids out there must mean they like him quite a bit. Interested to know his current size. Id say hes a DE but who knows

Do you see what highschool he is from??
Maybe a package deal with another kid from there.

Are you a fan of them signing a letter of intent on national signing day to another school when they’ve been committed to another school for a year or. Patrick Surtain Jr.??????

Tiger eyes,
The modern recruiting world is different than years past. Commitments are no longer trustworthy, kids flip on a dime. In a world where commitments can't be trusted, you are forced to have offers that can also flip. This is what recruiting has turned into and you either get with it or get left behind.
I think as long as the Coaches are honest with kids and where a kid stands there are no hard feelings. Hurt feelings maybe. I would also believe that if a Coach wants to continue to recruit next year he had better be honest.

Booker T puts out some ballers. I’m sure he will be a stud

Clemson is the only school that really says once you commit they will not pull their offer. They also force you to cancel all visits after you verbally commit. I would also assume they only give very highly rated kids committable offers because of this.
