He tweeted at the Tennessee and MSU coaches that he wanted to be “their guy” but then deleted it.

He was going to be the tough one to hold onto and I hope the LSU coaches can buckle down on this kid.

Hope he sticks with us but losing him won't hurt one bit. Koy Moore will ease the pain if we lose out on Jarrett.

Honestly, we have some other really really nasty Instate receivers for 2021 that I don’t want to get negatively recruited because we signed 3 of the top 7 receivers in 2020. I personally love Boutte and Burton’s more.

With that said, Rakim is a bonafide 5 star but he as always going to be tough to keep, especially how his recruitment went. Randomly committed to us after flirting with Ohio State and Tennessee and is from the DMV area which we don’t have a lot of history with.

On Snapchat he put “I’m going to decommit and go to Miss St” then on another line he put a laughing emoji.

ETA: his is still solid imo. He talks about LSU everyday on his story. Probably just rustling some feathers.

He's just trolling other schools. Maybe someone told him Miss st. was better, so he's trying to mess with their heads. Is all LSU

I agree, but this dude has some very special abilities. I'd hate to lose him.

Koy Moore has been tearing up the 7 on 7 national tournaments and football camps all off season. I expect him to shoot up the rankings to top five at least. This kid is the real deal.

Idk man, about 2 weeks ago this dude was on his phone in church with his mom throwing up the L.

Can you even be more solid than that.

Why can't LSU sign both Moore & Jarrett?

That should be Orgeron's goal.

With the stardom of Odell, we should be able to get any receiver we want.

Oh please quit exaggerating. Y'all act like we lose 10 commits per year. It'll be ok

LSU will always be able to get great skill players, they are in our backyards. But, what signing a player like Jarrett does is takes LSU's national brand to a higher level, it's a statement signing. Just like it is with Sampah and Ricks. It shows younger players that LSU is a program you want to play in. It gives LSU more prestige and notoriety. If he ends up somewhere else it won't hurt LSU from an on the field perspective, it just won't help from an image perspective. This dude is a very good talent, and he will flourish in Joe Brady's system. So if he is smart he will stick with LSU.

What if Bama wants him. They have Julio Jones. In fact every star receiver in the pros went to college somewhere.

Looks like he deleted any and all IG photos recruiting related photos. Just has some HS action pix and street clothes normal pix.

However, before you even get to the pix, when you click on his name, it says “Thank You God, @lsufootball WR Commit”
