WNSR Bill King show. I asked about JaCoby and Barton said how he might've been a silent to UGA, then the Bama push. Then he previewed a piece he's putting out in the next day or so with LSU trending. Called them the "Dark Horse favorite" to land JaCoby.

to me it really doesn't matter who leads at any point until signing day
the kid has been all over the place in this process ever since de-committing, but it's good to hear a national writer like Barton come out with this if anyone does

Along with Ryan Bartow's most recent CB for LSU. Tigers still in it for sure.

FYI, it starts at the 14:45 mark.

I just hope He takes his time and doesn't commit this time until he is totally sure. This kid is nowhere near ready as it seems and just wanted to rush his commitment. When listening to Jeremy his dad speak about it, it seems they are trying to get him to take his time

The LSU staff is in a tough position with Jacoby. If they go all out on him it could affect Harris and Delpit, and it's pretty clear no school is gonna feel 100% on him until he's either signed or enrolled. He's a freak athlete and a ball hawk but half his highlights are at WR and Raymond loves the other two as immediate safety contributors.

This, this, and this. We were named a darkhorse to sell clicks. These guys don't sign till Feb

Just a fancy way of saying "he also likes LSU".

I truly understand the kid perspective and only getting one shot at recruitment. It amazes me how some take it to serious and stay tight lipped only committing once and then how other make a media circus out of it. Either way it's the kids and the families prerogative.
I am a fan of Stevens (not his recruitment) and pray Ausitin coming back reels him back in. For the Most part I think none of us thought we were 100% out of it because we constantly followed his every move and he committed and never fell out of it totally. Seems like at end of day he took the les situation as a opening to decommitt and enjoy the process and get some coverage.

We have a pretty big factor working for us that bama and uga do not and will not have when it comes to this kid....Austin Thomas, and that's why we'll land him in the end.

Dark Horse Favorite
I mean if LSU is a favorite then by definition they can't be a "dark horse".

If Raymond can convince Delpit, Harris and Stevens to sign in the same class then he is tGOAT DB recruiter.

From what I have read Harris could be a great nickel back type where Delpit and Stevens would be the true safeties
