This RB has some impressive film. I hope that Duncanville pipeline continues.

Appears Oklahoma is the team to beat right now by a large margin. Colin Simmons is expected back in Baton Rouge in June though.

Oklahoma seems to be leading for lots of top prospects. Long way to go but still a little surprising given the lack of momentum they have around their program

They had a great class last year

I think this one is much closer than some in the recruiting industry would lead you to believe.
it is my understanding that LSU sits in a great spot with him. Durham & his mother recently scheduled their second unofficial visit to LSU for early-April - for the purpose of observing a practice.
Oklahoma is definitely a serious contender in this recruitment, but LSU sits in a great spot and has a legitimate chance to get with Durham.
always got a shot when Frank is leading the charge for a RB (even if the kid is an OOSer)…….

After a 6-7 season with a 55-24 loss to TCU and 49-0 to Tejas I wouldn't give up on a recruiting battle with OU until ink hits paper.

What is the deal with all these kids loving oklahoma?
I know demarco murray is there as running backs coach, but it just seems weird.

Yeah and coming into the SEC, the program has plenty to prove, especially after the lopsided bowl game defeats over the last few decades.

It's 3 hours from Duncanville to Norman.

LSU also offered him in track after he ran a 10.4 at Texas Relays. Seems similar to how they are recruiting Jelani Watkins.

OU base is deep in DFW area. These young men get to see them play every year at Red River Classic at Cotton Bowl. Hell might be more OU fans in Dallas than Texas Longhorn fans.

Eh, last year was their best recruiting class in over a decade (and was ranked higher than ours). They were obviously fun to laugh at during their rough stretch last year but it was the first season under a totally new regime after a significant exodus of impact players so I'm not sure how much stock you can put into poor on-field performance.
When it comes to judging a whole new staff, I'm of the opinion that early success can tell you something but early failure rarely does. They seem to be putting together a hell of a roster and i think they've got good on-field coaches too. Far too early to write them off.
