I watched this several months back. It was disturbing, which I expected. But I found myself bored with it throughout the whole thing.

It wasn’t “bad” per se. I just didn’t like it as much as I expected to.

He does have some boring movies but The House Jack Built is his best work. I find it totally compelling even on rewatches.
