Fast-forward is your friend on that episode.
The story itself for that episode was good, it just got far more graphic than it needed. Along with that, it barely moved the main story along. It and E7 are more like filler episodes, which is a shame since the season is only 9 episodes long.

I didn't make it past the first episode. The first half was amazing. The second half of the episode was unbelievably boring.

Buzz through episode 4 and there is only a few seconds of WonW. I did not see anymore of same sex stuff after E4.

For me it was the constant deviations from the source material, the game's story was near perfect and easy to adapt, and when they stuck to it it was good. When they didn't it was incredibly bad.
Sadly hollywood as a whole is pretty out of control when it comes to taking liberties with source material.

Just going through the series now myself. Yeah that was about as much gay as I’ve seen and I FF through a lot of it. Fwiw I’m on like 5-6 and has been fine since then. Didn’t even seem to add anything to the plot either just an hour of gay love fest.
