Will flight cost to Costa Rica on Dec 30th come down at all?

Generally speaking, outside of some sort of sale, as the place becomes before full and supply decreases you won't see a drop in price.The days of last minute price drops are pretty much a thing of the past and have moved more towards last minute upgrades.

I've long since been a believer in buying a changeable or refundable fare as early as possible to lock in a price you're comfortable with while retaining some flexibility.

Thanks for leaving out so many details. I see flights from Atlanta to San Jose for $600 on the 30th.

Is Liberia a no go?

They are $1,100 so not much better!
