Baton rouge hockey team?

Has there been any updates on whether we're are going to be getting a team back here? It seemed like it was going to happen and we would have an announcement soon. But maybe I missed it.

And an out-of-towner dying in the area not far from the Centroplex doesn't help, even though that could have happened in any city. But perception sometimes becomes reality

So because an out-of-towner came here to party and do drugs is the reason we shouldn’t have a hockey team?

No, I am not saying that. I am saying that nationally, people who haven't been following that story closely THINK that some dude just rolled into town and got mugged and murdered.

It's a money deal. Hockey team wants too cheap a lease and part concessions and parking ans the city wants too much.

SWB vetoed it because they refused to name the team the Baton Rouge Black Panthers
