I remember when his 5 star status dropped to a 4. Apparently the level of competition was below average in high school, so he did push inferior opponents around

Several things:
1. Football(especially o line) is a game that requires lower body strength. He has small legs relative to his body. That doesn't necessarily mean his lower body isn't strong but it wouldn't surprise me if that's an issue.
2. Out of shape/fat.

Our offensive line program and play is so bewilderingly disfunctional,,that honestly, I have no idea who is good or bad. I'm talking from technique to strength and conditioning to just knowing your assignments. For all I know he could be the next Pouncey or Jahri Evans.

Some guys just don’t transition to a college player and it was a miss by everyone. Easy to look like an all American when you’re 100+ pounds more than anyone you play in high school.
