You’re right. We should not even entertain the version of events given by the second party in a two-party interaction. Just accept the non-police version as fact, fire the officers and put them in jail without a trial (since we’re not going to hear any additional evidence anyway). Sound reasonable?

Perhaps an explanation as simple as being in a similar vehicle and in the area where a crime had been committed.

Well, if he blames it on BR, he can transfer to another school in another city in any part of the country he wants.
If he blames it on America, he can move to Liberia or some other African country and play soccer.
