Will Burrow reach Maravich status at LSU?

Maravich has been the quintessential LSU athlete for decades, and rightfully so. Will Burrow reach a similar or even greater status at LSU? We have the PMAC, so should we expect to see Tiger Stadium Or the field named after Burrow?

Will be like Billy Canon?

Two different sports and eras
Burrow will be the face of LSU football for a good 30 years the way Maravich was for basketball until Shaq came along.

Maravich = career
Burrow = one great season
Burrow = one great season

He has already attained Burrow status.

If he handles himself in the pro game like he did in college anything is possible. We all know luck and timing plays a big part in success at the pro level. With a little of those two with that guy’s ability, work ethic, football IQ, etc. I could see the field being named after him.

So did Burrow.
Let’s say burrow fizzles in the NFL (God forbid). Does his status here change from now?
If he goes on and wins 4 Super Bowls obviously he will get more recognition. But Maravich never won an NBA title though he had a good pro career.

If there isn’t a QB to come after burrow for a long time like how no one came after Pete until Shaq then yeah. Pretty unlikely tho

In my book, he is already up there with Maravich. Although, I don't know if I agree with naming the football stadium after him because that stadium is far too storied far that. However, I'm sure in the future some new LSU sports facility that LSU builds will probably be named after him. Oh yeah, he is already deserving of a statue in his honor.
Meanwhile, I can hardly wait to watch the Joe Burrow Story at the movie theaters when it inevitably comes out. As his biography is like a storybook.

Joe Burrow did too. No one will ever have a storybook career and record-breaking season like Joe Burrow did ever again.

No one will ever rewrite the NCAA record books while leading their team to a natty at the same time, the way Joe Burrow did with wins over 7 teams ranked in the AP Top Ten Poll in a single season.

Don't get me wrong, I love Shaq, but Chris Jackson was bigger than Shaq at LSU.
