If he goes to the NFL. We can't let him get away to another college.

Would be interesting to see what he can do with Brennan though.

I want to see this team be dominant every season, BUT I could be happy with a Natty followed by a down season or two.

This. I’d love to see him stay, but we can’t afford to lose him to another school.

I don't think so. I believe a Brady as OC deal with LSU is already done. I think the deal has been done since late November/early December. The contract couldn't get BOS approval because the contract needed to be submitted by November 6th for the December meeting. BOS will approve on January 10th. I do believe Brady and Woodward have already inked it.

We'll have to wait a few days to see if my crystal ball is fine tuned. If the contract is in the meeting minutes dated for the 10th, then we'll know around the 8th or 9th of the details.

Keep in mind this is all just guessing on my part based on public comments by Orgeron earlier this month and the BOS meeting timeline. However, if there's a deal, this is the correct timeline. Also, I'd say the deal is at $2.5-2.7+million plus big incentives and a hefty buyout.

To me, he still needs to prove himself in the absence of Burrow. Do that and you are a true prodigy

If it is on for the Jan meeting, it will be on the website agenda.

Where is he going, realistically? Do you think an HC in the NFL will make him a coordinator when he hasn't ever been one before? What team and what role could you see him leaving for at the end of this year?

I'm gonna just mark that down as wishful thinking and not actual reality.

That's the only job I could see him leaving for. He either sticks with LSU or sticks with Burrow

Not sure what he needs to “prove” as Burrow was here last year and Brady was not. Brady comes in and LSU turns into an offensive juggernaut. I understand fans wanting to see multiple years of it as validation but I think most can agree that Brady is the difference maker the program has sought out to find for many years.

Yeah. I just don't see that position being open if it's not open as of today. I say Brady stays for 1-2 more years to get that OC (or co-oc) title here; more success for his resume; and more experience. Then he leaves for an OC job in the NFL or to be an HC in college.
