How long will the game Friday night last approximately/on average?

I have family coming in town and they're all fighting me on a super late dinner reservation and I need to make sure I don't miss the end of this game.
2 hours is about normal for a televised game, but have the tournament games been going longer?

The length of the game Friday night divided by 1 will give you the average time.

March Madness games are longer than a regular game

Tournament games do show 5 minutes of commercials, come back for 1 play then another 5 minutes of commercials. Seen it done twice. I was like WTF?

Yeah, its been bad. I just haven't looked at my watch yet at the end of any games to see how long they lasted.

I would just cancel the dinner. This game is more important

Tell them you identify as an Italian now so dinner at 9pm is the new norm.

Well since it isn't a sec conference game the refs won't have to go to replay after every call.

Find a place to eat with plenty of TVs that way you can watch the game, have dinner, and ignore your family

Just have the family meet you at Hooters for dinner. They have multiple TVs and the basketball game and baseball game will both be on.
The last thing I would want to do is drive to a restaurant (thats unaware of the game) while the game goes into OT.

I can't count on 2 hands the number of times I have been at a dinner function with family and had my phone out with the game on WatchESPN. I ain't missing a game no matter the situation.

I could do that for anything other than a tournament game.
My dad is backing me up, we're moving the reservation to 9 and I'm paying an Uber Black or whatever to drive us there and pick us up to appease the women.
