Just heard this on the local Austin radio. Has anyone else heard of this happening?

would love to see Baylor's fans' reaction to the drastic difference in offensive philosophies between Briles and Miles.

According to an inside source in Waco, officials feel Miles stubbornness and propensity for boring offense would be conducive to creating an environment where players would be less likely commit sexual misconduct.

I think if Miles could recruit the right kind of players his offense would thrive in the Big 12. There's no defense for miles in the Big 12 and a ground and pound offense with a legit defense would dominate.

Ferrari to a ford pinto....
Not sure the Baylor faithful could adjust to this "type" of offense.

That might be the biggest about-face in the personality and philosophy of a program that has ever taken place.

Les Miles would kill it there. Weak Big X12 defenses vs a power ball control team. We saw how easily our offensively putrid teams beat up on West Virginia, Texas Tech, and TCU recently.
Homerun hire for Baylor, good for les if it actually happens

Him getting a new gig reduces what LSU has to pay for a buy-out.

He's a perfect fit for them, IMO.
A Les team could dominate the Big 12 (SIC), especially if he put together a defense. It might take him a few years to get the players, but once he did he'd own that conference. If he can do o e thing well it's recruit.
Under Les, LSU always dominated up-tempo, spread and spread option teams. The lone exception would be Ole Miss, if you choose to classify them that way.
Image-wise, he's perfect for them in the wake of Rapegate.

Miles ran a pretty wide open offense when at OSU. That one year he had the black qb he lit it up passing. If I recall, it was a pass to open up the run offense. Even though I had never heard of miles before the hire, watching his offenses at OSU had me somewhat excited going into 2015.
