Before today’s press conference I thought he would be retained. But after the presser I feel there is a 75% chance he is gone. Probably boot him before Bowl practice starts on Monday

No one knows. And as far as recruits, they play for LSU. From what I’ve seen of BK so far is that buying in is the key to success at LSU. This season is an example of both attributes. JD5 bought in. A couple of knuckleheads in the defensive backfield didn’t. Because the LBs coach had to double as D-line coach both areas suffered.

After BK went 9-3 2 years in a row with what he was handed, it’s clear he’s not doing this for fun. Why would he clearly put in the work to take that kind of leap just to be held back again by a defense that he wasn’t willing to change?

It would be insane to sign with a school while not knowing who the DC/position coach is. But that’s just my opinion.

I agree. I think if you read between the lines, BK is having conversations with the AD about thinking House should be replaced but how does LSU feel about House's contract hit. He was very adamant about "doing what's best for LSU and how it affects them as a whole".
