LSU already accounting for inflation 3 years after the first game?

Better LSU Athletics money than tax dollars.

That $%$$ is waaaay less than what we'd hafta pay teams like New Mexico or GA State. LSUAD is bargain hunting.

If we’re gonna rent a win, might as well keep the money in state.

Much prefer seeing a good institution like McNeese get it than some HBCU

Always good for the state of Louisiana.

It makes pretty much zero sense for us to play big time OOC games going forward. Playoffs will be 12 teams, and most likely expanding to even more. The SEC is plenty difficult enough to get you into the playoffs if you win enough conference games. Why risk dropping a hard OOC game and hurting your playoff chances? Playing a big money game at a neutral site is the only logical reason for doing it, and the every day fan still loses out on a home game by doing that as well.

Whoever is advocating for these charity games to remain on the schedule can frick all the way off.
It’s not LSU’s responsibility to fund FCS programs. Stop this bs now. Give us 10 SEC games, 1 P5 OOC and 1 G5 FBS only opponent. If you’re too scared to play a good OOC team you can just schedule Wake Forest and South Alabama.
What’s so complicated here?? ESPN won’t pay more for the extra SEC games. They pay the same for cupcakes as they pay for additional conference games which is idiotic.

As a season ticket holder...I couldn't give away GA State tickets...Hell I'd go for McNeese or any other in state school.

I'm a McNeese grad. I gave up on the football program a few days ago when we retained our 0-10 coach. So yeah, unless something changes, we are looking at 2 of the most lopsided games in Tiger Stadium history.
