Pollack said Daniels is his guy but was also very complimentary of Nix. That tells me he is watching them play and not just trying to push an agenda. He had nothing negative to say about Nix or Penix...just that he thinks Jayden's explosive plays sets him apart.

Manziel had a fantastic season rushing and passing a less yards passing by about 400-500 after the season but about 100 yards more rushing with like 20 TDs rushing and 25 passing for 45 TDs total.

That’s a stat question, and I don’t think it’s the right question, which is: Who, in NCAA history, is better than Jayden? No one. There was a narrative that everyone believed, going into the season, that JD was a late round talent. He has clearly established himself as the best player in college and the number one overall pick. It just takes some people a long time to overthrow the incumbent narrative in their brain.

Watch this highlight, two Aggie defenders have the angle on Daniels, both have less ground to cover than Daniels. And before they can't even think of at least lungeing at his legs, Daniels runs by them in a Flash.

Everyone I've actually heard in the national media, has also said similar. Problem is...this has and always will be a team award. Tebow, and to a degree, Jackson, were hyped pre-season to win it so there was a pre-disposed bias towards those two guys, Jayden didn't have that. This will all be decided (already has been) on team success. That's unfortunate. I would bet that almost every voter that votes for Nix would take Jayden in a game that their life depended on. They know the real deal.
