It’s so laughable.

- They are saying don’t let JD5 run around. Keep him in the pocket. Daniels has done most of his damage from the pocket. He isn’t the type of qb that has to scramble before he finds a Wr. He does great progressing through his reads.

- They are talking about how UT has some of the best WRs in the country so they should be ready for LSU. Correct me if I’m wrong but they didn’t do very great against UT.

- They are talking about the defenses that LSU have faced have not been great. You don’t average 47 ppg if you are not very very good.

- Lastly, I have heard multiple people say LSU OL isn’t good. Lol. Top 10 in passing and rushing but our OL sucks.

I love it.

Also, they expect every position group to have their best game of the season because they have been disrespected all year. They expect this to very simple if they play to their ability it will dominate.

So homers are being homers for their team? Wow. First time that’s ever happened. Surely we LSU fans are above that.

Every teams talking heads have bias. I remember listening to the Mizzou media and they went on and on about how Mizzou was better at every position outside of Safety and I found that laughable. When I listened to Mississippi State that was the only one that was concerned with Daniels and our offense.

Ole Miss was saying how LSU offense was going to struggle just like Bama's offense struggled. Auburn said the same thing. There are very few podcasts of opposing teams that have an unbiased view.

I haven't run the numbers to include last week's games but I think the point still holds.

If you remove the game against LSU, in SEC only games, Auburn and Arkansas both have better pass defenses and Mizzou has a better run defense than Alabama.

None of this addresses the most important aspect of the game. Those guys coudl be wrong about all of that...and Alabama is still going to win.

That program could never lose enough games to satisfy me.

Did you not see him put "Bama's talking heads"? We are normal fans, not LSU analysts or media folk. If you follow our media, they are terrified of our defense vs Bama team that is the 3rd worst power 5 offense we've played all year. Half think we can get to 40, other half think low 30s. A couple have picked LSU to lose. Doubt you'd find any Bama fan or media member pick Bama to lose.

It's not the same.

You'd think that, but LSU's doesn't.

Every team does it. Jordy was saying that he thinks our DB's will step up because this is the type of game "where memories are made", as if that'd actual analysis.

I mean this is a valid point. JD is the 2nd leading rusher on the team. Last year they watched him run for 95 yards and a TD. If JD is running all over the place, that's not good for Alabama.

Our fans have said similar things before the Mizzou game. "We've played against FSU's receivers and they are the best in the country so we'll be fine." Hell we had fans saying that we would shut down FSU's receivers because we had gone up against Malik and BTJ during fall camp.

I seriously doubt that they were saying that LSU doesn't have a good offense. Alabama will be the best defense we've played so far this year.

This just isn't true. And how many Bama media shows have you listened to so far this week?

What's really laughable is getting one's panties in a wad over what fans of another team say about LSU.

What do you expect?

Who cares?

Why even read it?

And why the compulsion to clutter up the rant with a detailed report?

I've done the numbers too and people should understand this point clear as day

Bama is 16th in scoring defense at 16.5 ppg

Ole Miss is 42nd at 21.4
Auburn is 46th at 22.5
Mizzu is 54th at 23.3

If you remove the LSU game to see where these teams defenses stack up with none playing LSU, you get;

Ole Miss 18th at 17.4
Auburn 23rd at 18.8 ppg
Mizzu 27th at 19.6 ppg (same as TAMU)

That's the major difference. LSU's offense.

Now, look at Bama, they scored 24 vs Ole Miss, AT HOME, 24 vs Arkansas AT HOME, and then 24 + a safety vs TAMU. That 34 points vs Tennessee was on Tennessee getting lost on offense in the second half. Conversely LSU scored 49 vs Ole Miss with 3 dropped TDs, 42 offensive points vs Mizzu with 2 TDs taken away by refs, and 48 vs Auburn. Hell we would have had 38 instead of 34 vs Arkansas, but we were rightfully scared to give the ball back to Arkansas.

Ole Miss and Mizzu haven't given up more than 27 points outside of LSU. Auburn hasn't given up more than 28 outside of LSU. Conversely, LSU's defense has given up 7 points or fewer than the 2nd worst power 5 defense teams have played against. If you average it out, it's around a 3 point difference.
