I was at the Ole Miss vs Ga. Tech game - LSU should score often

I saw this team play in person. Ga. Tech moved the ball on Ole Miss pretty much the entire game, but was terribly inconsistent, mistakes, boneheaded moves. It was a 7pt game in the 4th - final score does not reflect how competitive that game was. Ole Miss also trailed Tulane at halftime.

I see LSU scoring 40+.

Scoring doesn’t worry me… it’s stopping other teams from scoring that does

Dart is good for a couple of boneheaded decisions each game!

Tulane should’ve beat them with their backup….

It’ll really be on defending the run. We’ll need to start Jefferson

Particularly when they're consistently playing from behind and get desperate, which is how and why *they* pulled away from Ga. Tech at the end. Tech was playing catch-up, got intimidated by the crowd, and then got desperate, and that's how Ole Miss pulled away.

Obviously LSU's defense is questionable, but if they can't stop LSU's offense, I don't think it matters. I see this as potentially a 42-24 kind of game.

I was there too. Were you surprised with how loud it (piped in music) was?

Hopefully our offense gets going.

This, but rantards will still somehow say it’s JDs fault

Kelly mentioned he'd mostly be used in passing downs if I understood him correctly.

Yes I was surprised, and I think that played a big role. That was kind of my original point - Ga. Tech got intimidated and I think that showed on the field. They'll be loud for LSU as well, but if LSU keeps scoring, it won't matter, imo.

Alabama gave their offensive line fits to the point Kiffin got scared and everything was dumped off around the LOS. Bama was bringing a lot of pressure off the edges. Perkins needs to play a role

When it mattered - when Ga. Tech's offense was surging, Ole Miss went 3-and-out and was forced to punt.

42-24 LSU

Last year LSU put a lot of pressure on Dart, and that seemed to neutralize him. I think as long as LSU gets pressure and gets a few sacks, I think the Tigers come out of this one with a dub.

I don't understand why this would give you a better handle on things compared to someone watching on TV.

This. That one good hit on Dart and he was a different QB. It was all down hill for Ole Miss the rest of the season after that hit.

Bama hit him a bit last week.

I was providing perspective for an Ole Miss game that I doubt many people paid close attention to. Even if they watched it, they were probably flipping channels, and didn't have a feel for the game the same way as someone who was there with undivided attention.

That said, I'm really impressed that your football viewing skills are so superior to us average fans that you can absorb game experiences through your TV so thoroughly. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to make me aware of your superior talent.

If you ever have a couch coaching question, wilceaux is your man. This man probably has an 85 inch 8k OLED TV with premium surround sound so I’m sure he feels like he’s literally on the field dissecting each play.

Alabama played a lot of man and shut them down. Too bad House doesn’t call it but maybe 1 out of 30 snaps.
