He was nearly perfect and deserves to be named player of the week nationally. Did all the things everyone has clamored for him to do. Only critique is he needs to protect his body better on runs and slide more often.
He played really well and he locked in

He was definitely up there with Michael Penix Jr. Both performed incredibly well

If only his daddy was a coach he'd be able to get some credit nationally.

No, there was more, but there always is. He got single coverage on Nabers three times in the slot. Twice he hit him for easy TDs. The third time he didn’t throw it. Why? It was another very easy TD. Throw the damn ball! In a competitive game. That could be the difference.

He made a couple of bad throws. I’m not knocking him for that. But those are legitimate critiques. The coaches will be working with him on these and other things that they see. If JD plays the rest of the games at the level he played at Saturday LSU will hoist the trophy at the end of the season. Please God it comes to pass.
