I’ll hang up and listen.

Micah parsons is about 30 pounds heavier and clearly thicker than Perkins. When he is on the line or near it he isn’t the liability Perkins is in the run game
Perkins is a pass rushing freak, but A&M showed you can run the ball right at him if you put him on the line

Yes, not as big, but he’s also only 19.
Seems more of a OLB at the next level than an edge rusher/lineman

No. He’s pushed around at the line of scrimmage at the college level.
While it’s not his strength, he’s much more talented than parsons in pass protection.

Parsons is the size of a a DE. Perkins is the size of a SS. That’s a major difference.

Yea if it’s for the hood of LSU(and Perkins college accolades) Perkins needs to be rushing the QB. But seeing the debate this week he needs to take his lumps and learn how to play off ball if he’s going to reach his full potential NFL-wise.

Harold Perkins is a more athletic, faster Michael Divinity

Let me expound. It is very rare a football player makes it to the NFL. They are the 1%. And within that 1% elite group of people there is another group of elite people, a level above that 1%. That's Micah Parsons. Nick Bosa is in that group. Miles Garrett, Aaron Donald and Chris Jones are in that group.

He will be most like Lawrence Taylor.

Micah Parsons is a freak. He played middle linebacker at Penn St and won the Butkus. Cowboys turned him into an edge.

Perkins needs to gain about 20-25 pounds to be an everyday edge pass rusher. Being 220-225 lbs is undersized to be consistently on the edge like Parsons which is why they have to get creative and move him around. If they decide hes best suited at the edge then they can spend the entire offseason with him in the weight room to add on weight to take on the tackles every single down.

That's exactly what Parsons did this past offseason to transition to more of an edge rusher than LB. But truthfully Dallas can and does line him up at any position on the defensive line, not just on the edge.
