Turning point was game two. USM batters gave the great Tanner Hall a 4 run lead in the third. Hall immediately choked and gave it up and took the whole team down with him. USM had that second game but the ace collapsed in three innings. To me, strange.

That’s silly. He gave up one big hit. Then their CF had a ball go through the 5 hole to make it worse and their offense never scored another run the rest of the series. That home run didn’t even give TN the lead but their team looked like they quit after that

Well they won 4 games in the Auburn regional and the first game against Tennessee. Some people still find it hard to believe that good baseball exists outside of LSU and the SEC
