You were spot on. But its kind of an up yours from the NCAA to some 30+ win mid majors who have some serious travel while the Wave and their 19-40 record hop on a bus up Airline Hwy.

No, I don't make personal attacks. I answered your questions as to why it was unlikely that Tulane would come here. Just because you and I would prefer to have a 40 loss team here doesn't mean "that's how it works". It was unlikely. It's a gift.

You’re really underrating how much of a punishment taking a bus from New Orleans to BR on a Friday up Airline really is.

Only team with losing record replacing more deserving teams that were left out like UC Irvine, Arizona State, Kansas State. Conference championship team with losing record should not qualify, period.

They won their conference’s auto bid. Those are the rules. Deserving teams don’t have RPIs in the 50s and 60s, no matter how flawed you think the metric is
