Yup the entire board wrote them off saying they have been struggling at the end of the season and that the team had unfixable flaws. No one predicted them to even get past the sweet 16.

LSU women's basketball is coached by an elite championship winner.
LSU baseball is not.
This is almost as funny as the posters talking about the 97 Alabama thrashing of lsu during regular season. Skip and Kim do not equal Jay (at this point in his career). My opinion is he'll never be anywhere close to them

If you watched that game, it was apparent that CKM was not coaching with her usual passion, just a lot of head-shaking after turnovers or bad calls. I think she did not want to play USCe again and get blown out, killing her team's confidence before the NCAA tournament. Not saying she threw the game, but I don't think she was all that upset with the loss. She had a bigger goal in mind. Hope this is what CJJ is doing.

Mulkey plays in a sport with zero parity. Bertman coached in a time with very little parity. Johnson will never reach the number of national titles that either will, but that doesn't mean anything.
I know you can't wrap your simple mind around this though.

We’ve had champions lose series to nothing schools and get beat by 20 runs. Find some better data.
