Will OL coach Brad Davis receive an extension anytime soon?

He's under contract only through the 2023 season.

He may get extended before the season, but if not, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get offered a substantial extension. I think he’s worth it not only as a technical coach, but as a leader of men, and a man of high character.

All that plus the biggest reason he came to Baton Rouge will never change. The fact he said he wanted to come home. It's home for him, and I don't ever see CBK let him walk out the door, I mean how many years has it been since we had the talent of Campbell, Jones, Heard(could've had West), Frazier, Dellinger, Adams and Chester

I want him for as long as we can keep him but some AD is going to give him a lot of money to lead their football program in the next few years.

He’s got a bright future ahead of him.

He seems like a quality leader and the offensive line did play well down the stretch, but are we ready to heap all that praise on him already?

Taking two true FR OTs and getting them capable of withstanding SEC defenses is pretty impressive regardless how talented they are. He's recruited well and developed the talent we have. I don't know how much money should be thrown at him, but he deserves a quality offer to stay.

I hope so. I really like him and I think he's a damn good OL coach. He deserves a good payday to stay.
