LSU Baseball -10.5 run line tonight

Hmm. Butler only has 3 pitchers on staff who have allowed fewer runs than innings pitched. Hurd struggled against Southern. I know he pitched better in his last outing tho. Anyone know who Butler may be throwing today?

-9.5 on DK, but if you're riding a -9.5 in baseball you've got the biggest balls I know

I don't know who they're pitching, but I'd wait until closer to the game to see what our starting line up looks like.
It's also a dangerous line when you consider the 10 run rule.

Well if the line is 10.5? I am confused. Shouldnt that be a 11-0 win?
I think it will be 13-3, but that doesnt cover 10.5

Looks like Butler’s top arm hasn’t pitched yet this weekend.

The run line is -9.5, basically covering the 10 run rule

What a waste playing these shite teams

Right, there is a decent probability the game ends prematurely without offering the chance to cover spread.

Barokas hasn't pitched since 2/26. I thought he was their 1 or 2 guy, but maybe he's hurt. Even if he pitches, I think our starters would crush him. I'm just not sure how Jay is going to play this one with another game on Wednesday, then right back to it Fri, Sat, Sun.

Under 17 seems like the play

Barokas was pretty bad last year against way worse opposition.
2022 – Junior Season: Made 17 total appearances for the Bulldogs including nine starts… Went 2-4 on the mound with an 8.31 ERA… Struck out 58 batters over 47.2 innings of action… Walked 23 batters… Allowed 44 earned runs on 50 hits…

The 10 run rule would be in your favor for -9.5. You don't have to worry about getting backdoored in the 8th or 9th by a weak late-inning LSU pitcher giving up some runs.
LSU could walk off with a base hit in the bottom of the 7th and you cover 9.5. Or end the game with the final out in the top of the 7th.

I don’t know about that. With the 10 run rule you would have to have at least an 11 run lead after 6, unless you want to depend on a walk off run rule homer.

Why would you need that? Up 10-0 after 6. Get three outs in the top of the 7th, game ends, and you cover the 9.5
ETA: I was going off the -9.5 on draft kings. Not sure where -10.5 in the OP is coming from.

It opened at -10.5 for -145 this morning and then dropped all the way down to -8.5 for -180 before 1st pitch
