Because I don’t.

He wasn’t going to potentially start here until 3 years from now. When he did play this year, he looked like a true freshman not some seasoned vet

Let the kid leave. If he doesn’t want to compete and rather just be handed the job then let him fail elsewhere.

I thought he was the future, then I saw him play…He may turn it around with time, but understand him leaving

OR .... just be ok with the young man doing what he feels is best for him.

It's really not that complicated.

People get too emotionally attached to players and recruits. They take it personal when they leave. In reality its not a big deal at all that Howard is leaving. He isnt anywhere close to being ready to start in the SEC. We will sign another QB for depth in the portal and have good recruits coming in.

I think it depends, I'll breath easier after spring portal season if Nuss and Jayden are both still on the roster.

2025- Nuss
2026- Howard

He wasn’t competing for anything here besides a pour my Gatorade role

It just shows ineptness by the coaching staff to retain its 5 star players

Probably better to leave early in his college career than to wait 1-2 years. We can (and have) recruited his replacement for a few years from now.

Ask me, You must lose ONE QB in 2023 out of:

JD
Nuss
Howard

It's pretty clear to objective fans.

I just don’t like inconsistency. Some guys are “chestless quitters who didn’t want to compete” and some guys like Beck and Walker are “good kids who just didn’t get the right opportunity”. It’s strange and really can’t put my finger in what the difference is.

Kids aren’t staying 3 years anymore to sit the bench and wait their turn. College football has changed and it has nothing to do with our staff who has actually been KILLING IT on the recruiting front

You’re dumb

In today's CFB, fans should not be surprised to ever see a player transfer who was not going to see the field in the upcoming season. Players arent going to be backups anymore in most cases.

I don’t care who comes and goes. I’ll root for the team that steps on the field. To much movement in the off-season to care. We are top tier so we will attract talent.

A kid like Walker has probably never sat the bench in his life because he was always the best on his team. Some kids can handle adversity and some kids can’t.

A kid like Bech just wants to play and he got passed up at LSU. TCU is a perfect landing spot for him. Easier conference and he can start right away.

It doesn't hurt the team other than quality depth. It just hurts bc I thought he bled purple and gold.
