If he sits another year behind Daniels ,he comes in the following year with little or no experience. No way Kelly doesn’t bring in a ringer from the portal. Too much at risk. Walker had no other choice.

He was sitting this year (and probably next) regardless. He wasn't going to pass Daniels and most likely wasn't going to pass nuss. Odd move on his part.

I hate 1 year and done. You had a redshirt year, okay then at least wait another year and see how it goes. He was going to be competing for the starting spot after next season. And it is no guarantee that Nuss even stayed after Spring so for that reason not waiting until at least after Spring makes no sense.
