You can’t expect him to rebuild a roster, turn around a losing culture and have a championship season in Year 1. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can do that.

I’ve been on this board long enough to see the difference between emotional knee jerk rant reactions and an organized, concerted campaign with designated posters lobbying and trying to influence an outcome. This was the latter.

And no, I’m not and was never a Napier guy. I think he was solid for what he was. An average coach who knew how to surround himself with sun belt equivalent coaches

I had no position on this, then or now. I will say this, the jury is still out. Saban looked bad at times during his first season. And you will look bad if Napier is hoisting a national championship trophy one day.

No, I don't. He was never the obvious hire, may be worth consideration but not an obvious hire. Only a complete moron thought he was a no-brainer. How would he be one of us? The only two coaches I ever heard that said about were Jerry Stoval and Ed Orgeron. And one of those literally quit LSU football when he was a freshman.
You guys need to get Napier out of your head more than the Napsters needed to.
