Is the Citrus Bowl a must win?

Could boost the recruiting, morale for team going forward and a bowl win for BK right?

I think it’s very important to end the season with a win. Leaving on a positive note is always a good thing.

In this day and age every game is a must win in terms of advertising yourself for prospective portal transfers and recruiting. Top flight doesn't want to play for a mediocre program, even if they're on TV every weekend.

Yes, I believe a bowl win and a "10 win season" (after only 11 wins over 2 years with no bowl wins) to go along with the SEC West title and Bama's scalp are exactly the kind of benchmarks you want going into year 2 of a rebuild.
You can really sell recruits and their parents on that level of immediate progress.

You cannot lose to Purdue.
It's absolutely enormous for the QB too
Getting to 10 wins in year 1 is extremely important.
Not finishing the season by going from top 5 to loading to A&M by 2 TDs, Georgia by 3 TDs and losing to Purdue is also extremely important.
It's a must win.

I tend to agree. What concerns me is whether or not Kelly can get the team up emotionally. We all know that they will likely not be too excited about playing in the Citrus Bowl after being one win away from the playoffs 2 weeks ago. On the other hand, Purdue will be excited to play LSU. If we come out flat and go through the motions, we will lose and the fans could turn on Kelly with a quickness.
