If Kelly wants to bring him back in a lesser role I’m fine with that but if he’s our special teams coach we have some big problems. You can’t compete for championships with special teams that bad

Kelly's not firing Polian. He's too good of a recruiter. He just needs to re-assign him. To something that doesn't involve important on-the-field coaching.

As much as I like Kelly, it is concerning that he hasn't found a way to fix this yet. That shows a Les Miles level of inattention and stubbornness.
I understand that Polian may have to officially be an on field coach, but at least bring in an expert to teach him how to coach special teams and to work with them off the field.

A blocked field goal is one thing but for the offense to shut down on a live ball is unforgivable.
It was the deciding play that led to a ten point swing and LSU’s momentum was lost .
He may be a good recruiter by his coaching mistakes cost us a few games.

If this is not done at a minimum, Kelly needs to be raked over the coals for failing to address far and away the #1 failure of his team. Special teams literally cost us one game and was the major factor in the loss to UGA.
Notre Dame special teams was so damn happy to get rid of Polian, they went out and blocked SEVEN punts this year.
