We’re headed to CS on Friday. Never been before. Does anyone know where the LSU folks will be hanging out on Friday night?

First time going also; heard most people hangout in Northgate area-Dixie Chicken, Dry Bean Saloon etc. Are Tiger fans heading to Midnight Yell? Also, can you walk to the stadium from Northgate area? TIA

I would imagine you'd be better off in Houston

The spots I’ve heard are cool are:
Dixie Chicken (supposed to be the primary place to go if visiting)
Hurricane Harry’s (Country bar)
Stampede (food and country bar)
North Gate bars (if you’re college aged or in your 20s).

If you have LSU decals or anything on your car be watchful for local police

Elaborate on this. Unless you’re driving drunk which you obviously should avoid, then what is the issue?

DO NOT GO TO MIDNIGHT YELL!!
(Sorry for the all caps, but that's how serious I'm about that event)
I lived in CS for 10 years and I made the mistake of going once...
I always had LSU stickers on my vehicles when I lived there and flags on game day... never had an issue.
I waiting to go up until Saturday morning and I'm hanging out with my CS friends at Twin Peaks in Bryan...

Go have some bourbon at republic steakhouse. Owner has one of the best collections in our region.

I’ll be out there Saturday. Live in temple currently and I married an Aggie. And I fly to CS frequently for my job.
The chicken is by far my favorite bar. It’s in the northgate. If you’re into dancing, Shiner Park is also in the north gate. And there are various other bars around that are worth hopping spot to spot to.
Hurricane Harry’s is a dance hall style bar. Pretty fun. Commonly has live music.
Fuego Tacos for late night/drunk food or a quick meal.
C&J BBQ is very solid.
Luigi’s in Bryan for good itialian food.
Century park is pretty fun for shopping, food, and general hangout.
First Watch for brunch if you can get in.
Go see the Corps step off before the game.

Are there any free parking lots around or is it all parking passes?
Posted on 11/20/22 at 3:57 pm to BR Rob
Even though he's not parked illegally every time my son goes to CS he gets a parking ticket from campus security.

Related: any thoughts on the gameday shuttle from downtown Bryan? It's free, starts running at 3pm until 1 hour post-game.
