Our starters, except for Gaines, just didn’t get the job done today.

Our starting 5 scored 28 points today, while our bench contributed 30 points. Days, Wilkerson & Murray had 7 points combined.
Our starters pulled down 14 rebounds, our bench had 13.
Gaines was our leading scorer (14 pts) AND our leading rebounder (6 reb). SMH
Gaines, as well as he played shot 1-4 from the free throw line and had 4 turnovers. Days, Eason & Murray had 3 turnovers apiece.
Just one of those days. This was an anomaly.

And Gaines was still crap. The whole team did a fantastic job contributing to the loss. However, I will say the fact that we were still in this game after how poorly we played is impressive.

Tigers went cold the last 10 minutes of the game and the rebounding wasn't up to par. It happens from time to time.

Gaines regressed today… more turnovers and less assists. He spent way too much time just dribbling the basketball. That’s on him, the coaching and the other 4 guys on the floor!

Actually he had fewer turnovers and more assists today along with more rebounds, (he led the team in scoring, rebounding and assists today).

Days with 3 pts, Eason not efficient and Gaines going 1-4 from charity.
Tough L but they'll grow from this hopefully.
