I think someone showed that the closest SEC team to College Station is LSU and that is still a 6 hour journey. Now before I die I hope to attend a Gamecock game in every SEC venue.. haven't made it out to Arky or LSU yet due to distance, so that A&M trip will be one hell of a haul but someday I'll make it out there.

Anyway who here plans on traveling to A&M the 1st time their SEC team travels to College Station? And how many A&M fans on here plan on traveling to some of A&Ms 1st SEC road games?

Yeah the drive out to Memphis from Columbia was rough when we went to the Liberty Bowl a few years back. After that drive and back I decided I'll be flying to any SC game west of the MS River.

Hell it is ten-eleven hours to BR from Columbia so why have you not come yet?

Thats most likely due to the fact that we only go to BR once every 5 years and during that year I just go to another road game or something. Maybe next year though without A.Jeffery or Garcia I feel like it'll be a rough day in BR for SC.

Knoxville isn't that bad of a drive either. Just takes some time getting through the mountains. Though in '09 it was worse because a rockslide blocked the main road that leads into Knoxville from Columbia and we had to go around Knoxville and come in from the other side.

I'm there!!

Here are some tips...

DO wear your hat in the Memorial Union
DO walk on the grass
DO come up with some creative acronyms using BTHO
DO make the Aggies feel retarded when the attempt to "corndog" us
DO make fun of the Aggies when they mention how similar they are to the Gumps

DON'T stop screaming TigerBait at the male cheerleaders (yes, I know they are called Yell Leaders in Aggieland, but in the rest of the SEC They are cheerleaders)

I graduated from LSU but grew following Washington Husky football. We were pretty dedicated to catching road games and I can remember going to the game at Arizona State to see the Huskies. I think our conference has it pretty good for travel.
