What school does Oklahoma most closely resemble in the SEC?

I would say Florida/Alabama hybrid...

An argument çan be made for Georgia. OU wants Beebe out as a condition to stay.

Remember the GA President throwing a hissy fit when LSU jumped GA in 2007? He threatened all kinds of bullshite. Pretty funny that UGA has been irrelevant since...

I don't see the Florida analogy as being nearly as strong as Alabama. School colors, winning %, opinion poll championships/weeks ranked - those all make Alabama and OU much more comparable. Both are also the flagship programs of football mad medium sized states.

Florida is a dominant program today but they were not really prior to the 80s and esp the 90s
