It's shocking to me that no one really wants one of the 5 greatest teams in college basketball history, especially one that is close to a pretty big media market.

memphis has never been what kansas is in basketball and probably never will be, partly bc they are in a shite conference.
dude step back, drop jacque vaughn's cock and try to follow the grownups
kansas may be in a shite situation needing to make the best of whatever is left. nobody gives a frick about the historical standing of KU basketball when they got left in a hot car with the windows rolled up while their mama went in to get her nails done

you didnt quite get the post then, bud.
the point is, you said it hasn't hurt memphis. well memphis has never been what kansas is, and never could be partly bc of their conference ties. it hasn't HELPED memphis. kansas dropping into a shite conference like memphis is in could have a hindrance on kansas' success and how people will view their success (i know i look down on memphis' recent conference titles, but not kansas').

kansas controls kansas city just like uga controls atlanta. people don't always get that, but oh well.

nobody cares about the regular season in CBB but the AD's counting the gate
since we have a tournament that decides the winner what does it really matter when you consider that butler from the Horizon League played in the Championship game
but if it gets to that point where KU has to "settle" then creating a strong basketball conference with mizzou, picking up some CUSA/MWC schools to fill out the regional roster and having a football conference they could actually win is not such a bad thing
especially if they can salvage the Big 12 and severely frick the schools trying to leave

Kansas City is about as 50/50 as a metro area can be
