Defense is going to have to get better, but honestly I dont think we are that far away. We have plenty of athletes and even better ones coming in the future.

It is easy to recruit at aTm. As long as you have a good coach you'll be fine. Every team has down periods.

Agree completely. Coaching will be the only thing that prevents us from winning in the SEC. Fortunately, I think Sherman is going to do just fine.

I sure hope you're right because I was not impressed with what I saw. They had all sorts of trouble with a gimmick spread offense, and if SMU doesn't Oregon itself with its mistakes we could have seen a much closer game if not an upset.

A&M has just under three weeks to figure out how to stop this, because Okie Lite comes in on the 24th running that same gimmick offense with far better talent than SMU.

Its not a gimmick spread offense, its the run and shoot. We adjusted in the second half and shut em out. Dont forget our best LB and pass rusher sat out this game (Damontre Moore). Not mention that was an extremely veteran team, not your average scrub. We did manage 8 sacks against the most experience OL in the country. Sure the defense needs some work but we've got two weeks to figure things out.

The offense was unstoppable. They literally could do nothing to stop it.

First game jitters out of the way.

Idaho should just forfeit now. We will be good going into the Okie Lite game, and we will win.
