aTm can stay independent and wait for the Big12 to fall apart. Once that happens the door is wide open. It is only a matter of time.

The real school at fault for this shite is Texas. What kind of school get paid more in a conference than the other school. Stupid Texas/Big 12.

baylor was ready to let atm go until all this OU/UT talk to the pac12 started.
i'm starting to wonder if OU/UT are really going to the pac...i think it's all bullshite and they are using the talk to give baylor reason to sue.

OU and A&M also liked getting paid more. So did NU.... Plus a few others who voted for it.

Baylor is just playing Texas A&M for a payoff. A&M will pony up a ransom, pay the Bears and say adios. I say never pay terrorists, where will it stop. Saw that on a cop show one time lol

Maybe, perhaps, taking over its financially struggling medical school?
Win-win for both sides. A&M has been wanting a med school for some time, but starting one from scratch (even if approved by the powers that be) takes years and millions. Baylor already has one but is having trouble financially supporting it.

Disagree. I welcome conference realignment. There is an obvious imbalance between the SEC football east and west that should be addressed once the two new teams are in place. A&M has always played LSU tough. I'd like to see them in the west.

Wrong.
The Big 12 conference told the SEC there would be no lawsuit from the conference. That letter did not include the intentions of the member schools. Yesterday, Baylor called Slive and made it clear they would sue. That is why the SEC now wants waivers from every Big 12 school surrendering their legal right on this matter before A&M gets an offer.

Really? I had no problem last week watching my local high school team, watching some Baylor/TCU when I got home that evening. Watching LSU/Oregon the next evening on the TV, flipping to LaTech/Southern Miss once they were on and had Rice/texas going on the laptop.
Edit: Forgot that i watched A&M on Monday.
I promise you I have very much enjoyed my football so far this year.

The CFBdatawarehouse ranks A&M #20, while they may not have finished in the top 5, they were usually very good thru the 80's and 90's. They are 18-17 vs might UT the last 35 years, that's a solid program.
Quit trying to make it sound like they are Army or Columbia.

I think it sucks also. Unless Clemson or VA Tech can be brought in to the east this is going to be shity.
