And how does it end?

Does Slive give unconditional invitations - say frick Baylor?

Or does Scott have to move first, assuming they get OK/OK State?

This is football season, not summertime.

It will finally end, at least in my lifetime, at the end of the 2015 season when the ND/NBC contract expires. Hope I'm here to see the end to this madness.

Is anyone else saddened by all this mess?

I am. Grew up in Kansas, lived in Missouri for over 10yrs. Hate to see Missouri, Kansas, Kansas State, OU and OSU stop playing each other. Sucked when Colorado and Nebraska left. I can remember a lot of good Big 8 games back in the 80's. And the KU vs Mizzou basketball rivalry is always fun to watch. I hope the Big 12 somehow stay together.

Bayou - you're not alone.
Will always believe that regionally aligned conferences promote the best of CFB. What's better then OU/TX, ND/MI, or FL/FlSt? Super conferences will kill the great ouc games like LSU/OR.
What a shame, but this madness is not about the fans, student athletes, or rivalries.

Not everyone is the same kind of fan as you.

Nothing will be set in stone until some trickle down happens.

I'd imagine the remaining Big 12 schools (including Mizzou) wait to see how the conference and Texas respond to OU's demands. Before that though, I think they'll all wait for more Big East defectors (UConn, Rutgers) to see if merging with some of their leftover schools creates a viable Big 12 enticing enough for OU and Texas to stay.

If nothing can get ironed out, the deals for Mizzou to the SEC and UT, TT, OU, OKSt to the Pac 12 will be on the table to take.

I keep coming over here to see what's new but it's so much information coming from so many different directions. I'll come back when the dust has settled.

Welcome to the SEC,
Tex A&M and Mizzou ????????

I am. Texas A&M is ghey, and Missouri seems like a less talented and farther away Arkansas. I'm not really sure if either fits in or not. If Auburn leaves for the east, our schedule gets a lot less exciting.

As much as I hate Auburn and Florida, I love playing them every year. All this talk about TV markets, plus the fact that we only have, at most, one relevant night game a year is really saddening

When all the schools are eventually in the same conference. Then it begins again when they all start splitting up.

I agree this all sucks. In a few years people are going to look back on this whole mess and realize that it actually messed up college football.

Amazing how greed so often ends up causing the greedy to end up with less.
