I call them 'soft drinks'. I'm from Alabama.

I'm an anomaly.

I'm in SWMO. I usually hear "you guys" from college educated or people with money. Hear the yalls from the rural portions of the population.

That Coke map is funny.

NW Arkansas - 80% "coke". Cross into Oklahoma, and its 80% "pop".

Damn injuns.

Yup, I'm 3(Joplin side of Jasper,co) 2(Joplin side in Newton,CO) Counties north of yall. I usually go to the LSU basketball games down there. I wish they'd move the LSU/Arkansas football game to Fayetteville.

We have lots of Arkansas fans in this area, even see people with the personalized Razorback specialty plates(they look better than Mizzou's) Funny KU can't get the personalized plates in Missouri but Arkansas can.

I've always been in the "Other" category I guess.....

I call it what it is. Coke is Coke, Sprite is Sprite, Dr. Pepper is Dr. Pepper.

Lived in Texas my entire life....

So A&M does culturally fit with the SEC.

And where I'm from (Shreveport and now close to San Antonio) its a coke, then you gotta figure out what flavor.

Don't get me started on my sweet tea tirade.

Blasphemy.

Agreed - Pepsi is flat and too sweet, with no bite.

Also, "soft drink" is the correct term - poll some bartenders...

I was a bartender for years, and it was always coke, but I'm from the heavy maroon area in north alabama.

The Purple "No Data" is probably Purple Drank. There is a Purple spot in Texas, probably the Houston area
