Considering the aggies have been ut's bitch for over 100 years, you're getting pretty cocky over something that hasn't happened yet.
1. Is there anybody who still believes this is not happening? Seriously?
2. Since 1975 the series is either dead even or in A&M's favor. They like to point to that record, which includes the first 17 meetings that occurred in Austin.

It's happening, but you're not in the SEC yet, so STFU.

Whether it happens or not, what gives YOU any room for smack? You should STFU, cocksmoke.

The fact that we're a charter member. You have no idea the hazing that A&M is gonna get for years. Arkansas thanks you.

Clemson is ok,
Hell no. Don't want another school with a lot of the same lore as us.
Besides, where did all this Clemson and Mizzou talks come from? Seems like people are just making these up.
aTm and FSU would be perfect for now and wait til next year if you want to add more.

Sounds like Mizzou doesn't want to join
Posted on 8/13/11 at 10:42 am to busey
I'd rather we be noobs forever than add more teams, It wont be the same.

Missouri and Clemson would be dead weight teams that bring nothing to the table in any sport but collect on the jackpot at the end of the season from bowl money.
Do we really need another team like that in the SEC? We already have Vandy and Kentucky (no offense Busey).
ETA: Kentucky brings basketball, so I take that back for them.

We've been to five bowls in a row. We're NOTHING like Vandy. And the SEC needs us in basketball.

I have no issues with Arkansas. I have no issues with. A&M. I do have an issue with Missouri. I'm not a big Clemson fan because I'd you're winning 6 games in the ACC...how you think that translates into the SEC? They gonna get stomped.
Ole Miss is the Wests bottom feeder and I'm not sure how much they'd appreciate Mizzou poaching their Kentucky and Vandy scraps every year.

You're right. I take that back. But Vandy is a complete floater. Even when they have a good team, they choke in the post season. This year's baseball team prime A example.

I'm not sure what you mean. Kentucky is a better program than Mizzou, not by a whole lot though.

When's the last time Kentucky went to a bowl that didn't involve a pizza or .com?
Posted on 8/13/11 at 10:54 am to TTsTowel
Should have waited to post it on the upcoming conference realignment board.
I kid, but there's been a request on the help board.

This is a hilarious forum. Calling Busey out...Seriously, as a Kentucky fan you have no place to diss Mizzou. We'd crap on your field after properly destroying your team. A Kentucky fan dissing Mizzou...hilarious!
We could hold our own in the SEC. Our past SEC matchups prove that. We've beat Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, LSU (twice) and Arkansas (2008) in big bowls. So backup your claim that Mizzou sucks with some evidence. Against the SEC, we've been pretty damn good.
Other than basketball, what has Kentucky done lately in football?

If we expand to 14, or god forbid, 16, it will change the whole fan dynamic. I know, we're noobs. But we've been in the family for 20 years now.
But to a certain degree, your younger generation of SEC fans view their divisional foes with much more hate and passion than what might have been their traditional rivals.
We just see each other so much more often. KY probably hates Carolina now more than they do Ole Miss, for example.
The larger divisions will mean that we play cross-divisional games with much less frequency. I have no idea how it will affect baseball scheduling, for example. Will there even be cross-divisional series?
If we go to 8-team divisions, a weird reality will be a generation of Ole Miss fans who are more familiar with Texas A&M as opponents than they are Georgia or Florida.
SEC 3.0 will be a strange new world.

We've never been to a pizza or .com bowl. Nice try though. I'm not saying they're great bowls, but we went. More than some schools can say.

frick Mizzou. Beat your chests about beating an Arkansas team minus a coaching staff in a Cotton Bowl, as if that makes you legit.
Go to the Big East.

Frick Missouri. We don't want you either.
